Primary Years

Primary Years

The Primary Years at GMS provide a strong foundation for lifelong learning. Through a carefully designed curriculum, we nurture curiosity, foster a love of learning, and develop essential skills in literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking. Our focus is on creating a supportive and engaging environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.

Saplings (Class 1)

In Saplings, we nurture a lifelong love of learning by fostering curiosity and a thirst for knowledge. Our engaging curriculum focuses on developing essential literacy and numeracy skills while encouraging creativity, critical thinking, and a sense of wonder.

Stems (Class 2)

At Stems, we build upon the strong foundation laid in Saplings. We encourage independent learning and foster a love of exploration through a diverse range of subjects, including science, social studies, and the arts. Our aim is to nurture well-rounded individuals who are confident, curious, and eager to learn.

Blossoms (Class 3)

In Blossoms, we cultivate a deeper understanding of the world around us. Our inquiry-based learning approach encourages students to ask questions, explore concepts, and develop their own understanding. We foster a love of reading and writing, while nurturing creativity and critical thinking skills.

Maples Green (Class 4)

At Maples Green, we empower students to become independent learners and critical thinkers. Our curriculum emphasizes problem-solving, collaboration, and a deeper understanding of the world. We encourage students to explore their interests and develop their unique talents.

Maples Orange (Class 5)

In Maples Orange, we prepare students for the transition to the Middle Years. Our curriculum focuses on developing essential 21st-century skills, such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity. We encourage students to take ownership of their learning and become active participants in their own education.
